I like to murder people for fun and profit, so if you enjoy mystery and mayhem, then you’ve landed in the right place.

 

My second mystery novel is available in paperback and Kindle! I am thrilled and grateful for the warm welcome Archie's first mystery received, and I think his second case in St. Lazarus is a good mix of familiar and new. This time, he is not focused on finding the killer as much as he is upon exonerating the innocent. I am working on the third Cavendish mystery and the first book in a new mystery series about a quirky young couple exploring America. I have loved the mystery genre since I watched “Columbo” and “Banacek” as a child sitting next to my Mom.

 

Later it was she that put the first mystery novel (“Death on the Nile”) in my hands and in her pile of books that I discovered P.D. James, Reginald Hill, Ruth Rendell, Colin Watson, Marion Babson, Martha Grimes and so many others… Now I am putting my pen to the page, and pushing my books into the world and hoping to help pass the enthusiasm for this genre to future generations….

As you can imagine, when not writing mysteries I am reading them. Or watching them. For me, they are the perfect genre. They blend intellectual challenges, escapism and a little bit of reflection about the human condition along the way.
